Bombardier Aerospace today announced that production of its new Learjet 85 aircraft has officially begun as the program successfully exited the Aircraft Level Critical Design Review.
With product development activities transitioning from detail design to the build, test and validate phase, the Learjet 85 is moving towards its scheduled entry-into-service in 2013.
The Learjet 85 program achieved another exciting milestone. On that day, the first Learjet 85 aircraft's fuselage was produced, marking a historic first for Bombardier's Querétaro facility in Mexico.
